About this event
Celebrating the Suffragists – Who they were and what they accomplished. Many people can
identify Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton as leaders of the Suffrage
Movement. However, there were many more women who worked tirelessly for the passage of
the 19 th Amendment. Many of these same women, along with others, continued to fight after the
Amendment passed so that all could vote. Come learn about these women and the suffrage
movement.
Location: Oasis at the Meadows, 700 Babcock Rd.
Registering: Registration is restricted to Oasis members, but membership is open to anyone 50
years of age and older and it is free. Registration opens August 21 at oasisnet.org
Cost: Registration fee for each presentation is $5.
