The LWVSA presence at naturalization ceremonies is a wonderful opportunity to welcome new citizens.  PLEASE NOTE:  This special ceremony will be held at City Council Chambers. We will remain inside.

There will be a Naturalization Ceremony on March 8th in celebration of International Women's Day at the San Antonio Municipal Plaza Building, 114 W. Commerce St, 78205. Approximately 50 women will take the oath of citizenship, administered by U.S. Magistrate Judge Elizabeth S. (“Betsy”) Chestney.

Plan to arrive early to find parking.

The ceremony at City Council Chambers is more formal than the ones at the USCIS office.  Please dress in business attire and wear a LWVSA name tag.  All volunteers MUST remain nonpartisan and not wear anything with messaging of any nature.
