The LWVSA presence at naturalization ceremonies is a wonderful opportunity to welcome new citizens.  PLEASE NOTE:  This special ceremony will be held at City Council Chambers. We will remain inside.

The citizenship oath will be administered by a federal judge to approximately 50 female applicants at the ceremony. Volunteers will hand out welcome letters from LWVSA. The Bexar County Election officials plan to attend.  Only mail in voter registration applications will be used.  

Plan to arrive early to find parking.

The ceremony at City Council Chambers is more formal than the ones at the USCIS office.  Please dress in business attire and wear a LWVSA name tag.  All volunteers MUST remain nonpartisan and not wear anything with messaging of any nature.
