The event calendar shows upcoming club events. Select a view then use the navigation buttons to move
between dates. Click on the event to view more information, including the event description, times,
location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.

Many seniors are unaware of all of the requirements to vote by mail, especially that they must apply annually to vote by mail. Volunteers with the League will soon begin visiting the City‘s Senior Centers to inform seniors of the process to vote by mail: applying annually and returning the mail in ballot.
The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, a nationally recognized 501c6 Non-Profit is hosting a business summit. Henry Cisneros is the keynote speaker. Did you know that people who have recently moved are unrepresented at the polls? This is a great opportunity to provide voter education to the realtors who can help address this issue.

LWVSA Community Outreach volunteers will assist new citizens in completing the voter registration application. New citizens are from multiple counties. VDRs certified in multiple counties are encouraged to volunteer.
All members are invited and encouraged to attend the League‘s 2024 Annual Meeting. In addition to approving the budget, the bylaws, and the nominating slate, there will be plenty of networking opportunities.
United States Federal Courthouse
The LWVSA presence at naturalization ceremonies is a wonderful opportunity to welcome new citizens. The citizenship oath will be administered by a federal judge at two ceremonies to approximately 200 applicants at each. Volunteers will distribute the New Citizen brochure from LWVSA and direct new citizens to turn in their voter registrations to Bexar County Elections staff on site. Sign up for one or two ceremonies.
